Who Am I?
I'm just an ordinary bloke who has lived a great life. I have swam in oceans, climbed mountains, fought for my country, laughed, cried, had people love me and hate me too. I continue to see the world with a mixture of wonder and despair, I work hard, spend time with people I love and care for and generally try to be known as a "good bloke". I started this blog because my diagnosis did change me as a man and a person, I have at times struggled, at times been strong but I have never really discussed it aloud. This is my way of changing that, as I approach nearly two years in remission, "touch wood", I want to document my past, present and future journey so that I may understand it and maybe deal with it better. If I help others along the way then I'll be happy and hopefully someone will say "he's a good bloke!"
